Desription: An established MNC company invites qualified candidate with the
right skills to apply for the stated position.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and Review of Group monthly consolidated accounts, quarterly
report and reporting to Bursa.
• Supervise overseas subsidiaries finance team in daily accounting/finance
work and ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports.
• Examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements and other
financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to
reporting and procedural standards.
• Manages overseas subsidiaries managerial reporting & analysis
requirement to support sound managerial decision making and strategic
business management.
• Support budget development and control, variance analysis and cost
related analysis and provide sound recommendation
• Preparation of yearly group budget and forecasts.
• Ensure overseas subsidiaries internal controls are in place and
compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial, statutory, audit
and tax reporting / requirements.
• The job requires close liaison with auditors, directors, government
regulatory bodies, company secretary and tax agents on behalf of the
Company.

Requirements

• Must possess at least a Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or
related professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/MICPA/ASCPA).
• Preferably Managers specializing in Finance / Accounts / Audit/Taxation
or equivalent.
• Internal and external audit experience in large / medium size audit
firms will be an added advantage
• Experience of working with a public listed company.
• Independent, mature and good in organization skills.
• Based in Melaka and willing to travel overseas when required.
